Cultural Aspects Of Nursing
Those countries attuned to the Western
method of health care see the role of the nurse as straightforward: to
care for the physical needs of the patient, record keeping and assisting
with medical procedures. This 5 page paper argues that while a nurse in
the United States or Canada may be well trained to meet emergencies, the
rural nurse of the Philippines and Mexico is much more likely to need
that knowledge as well as being less likely to have it from a 'certified
institute of learning'. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
