Hiroshima Devastation

In five pages the reasons why the bombing of Hiroshima did not have to happen are discussed in terms of the other alternatives available to President Harry S. Truman that would have necessitated the end of the Second World War with the emphasis on the lack of clarification by the President during the May 1945 Potsdam Proclamation. Two sources are cited in the bibliography.
