Nursing Shortages in the Hospital Setting: A Problem for Canada
This 8 page paper considers the issue of nursing shortages in the hospital setting and the implications for the nursing profession in Canada. This paper argues that the move of nurses into other service areas and the changing nature of nursing services has resulted in reductions in the number of nurses currently working in the hospital setting, a problem that has negatively impacted the ability to maintain services.
