Special Interest Groups: Canada
An 11 page paper which discusses the effect, or
influence, that special interest groups have upon government in Canada. Information on
the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC), the National
Anti-Poverty Organization (NAPO), and the Communist Party of Canada is provided to
help illustrate the issues, the level of involvement, and the level of influence. For the most
part, the influence of these special interest groups are felt by the public, how the
government says is not influenced. And it is generally the public, when sufficiently
convinced by special interest groups, that truly make the changes in government.
Bibliography lists 7 sources.
