Validity of the Nietzsche Quote
– “In individuals, insanity is rare, but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.”: This 4 page report discusses Nietzsche’s quote from Beyond Good and Evil (1886) that “In individuals, insanity is rare, but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.” Is the quote legitimate? Is it simply a clever turn of a phrase? This paper presents and argument that the quote is correct ands presents a number of examples to illustrate and support that agreement.
